I would say there is a large disparity of users of reddit.com to those who actually contribute to the voting system. I would also say there are even less people out there who comment on posts, as some of the top posts show, there are often few comments at best.

It’s getting freaking lame, damn near impossible to get anything on either of those sites that anyone will see. Pefect example, I a a huge fan of The Straight Dope. Someone notices there were no posts to them on reddit, so now, once a day, there is a main page headline.

The screwy part is, I have posted those links before, and they get nowhere, maybe a few karma points, and i am long lost. Why? Because the beginning users have all the karma, so they count the most.

As of this writing, there is one truth I know, reddit.com is littered with posts about kicking President Bush out of office. The vocal users of reddit will post in the comments how sick they are of these posts and polls, regardless, the posts get voted up. The casual user will get the point, the internets at large do not like Bush.

You liberals are, as usual, going about this all wrong. If you really want to make change, stop being so reactionary. Take your goal and put it in a forward thinking perspective. Impeaching Bush is in no way forward thinking.

Dear Subway Sandwiches, I know it must be hard being the bastard child of a real sandwich shop, and for that, I am willing to cut you a little slack. It’s just that lately, I think you have totally forgotten how to make a sandwich.

1) Mayonnaise is a fat, fats repel liquids.
2) Bread is a carbohydrate, carbohydrates act much like a sponge.
3) I hate soggy sandwiches.

Mayonnaise is not just and item that was haphazardly chosen to adorn most sandwiches, it was chosen for a damn good reason. Evenly spread on both sides of the bread, it will prevent any juice or other liquids from sogging up your bread. As an added bonus, it tastes pretty good as well.

if you happen to be a Macintosh user, go try and do some research on BMW’s website. Yes, you can get to it other ways, via google, or directly to the USA page, but how unacceptable is that source code?

It spews errors in FireFox, granted, FireFox seems to be forgiving enough to allow the page features to work. Seriously, take the profits from the sale of one car, and hire a real web developer.

One of the absolute weirdest things happened to me the other day while in a sports store shopping for a new jacket. I had done a bit of drinking the night before, the coffee was knocking a few things lose, and I had to take a pretty nice dump. I wandered my way to the back of the store and sat down for a nice private unloading.

Just as I am finishing up, I hear someone walk into the bathroom. Keep in mind, I am in a closed, locked stall. Mid wipe, literally leaning to one side, swiping away at my ass, and I see this little kids head pop under the stall. Not only does he look at me, but he does not say a damn thing. There was no knock on the door, nothing. Just a five year old kid, crawling his way into my shit stall.

Buy this album for the lyrics, she is an amazing songwriter. her singing is fantastic as well, for me, the lyrics to each song just takes away from everything else. If you ever have a chance to see her live, I would. I would also call this one of the best 3 shows I have ever seen.
