Daily Readership Milestone

I officially added my first post to Formulate Affinity on 04/02/05. As of 04/19/05 I hit a milestone, with around 800 unique page views (IP addresses) in a twenty-four hour period. To be honest, this is more “readership” than I ever imagined. This was pretty much just an experiment to see if I could get in the habit of writing and actually improve my writing skills. While I can say for certain my writing skills are nothing short of (As “K” says “too ranty”) shoddy, it does give me something to do and a place for me to put some of the stuff that crosses my mind.

While 800 page views is seemingly high to someone like me, it just ain’t squat compared to some of the other more pro bloggers out there. According to my logs, most of the traffic is coming from digg.com. As best as I can tell, someone has started posting some of my stuff there, which in turn is driving traffic to me. I don’t think they are really reading anything, since my god damn comment count is abysmal. :-) Either way, I am sort of stoked, though you could drop a comment or four in and really make me feel important.
