As much as I hate to just rehash Slashdos, thats exactly what I am going to do today. Plus, this is something I heard about a month ago, and forgot, so I can get by with rationlizing that I am not being like ever other blogger out there.
Wired News: No Porn for You, Video IPod!, in short, porn peddlers are not at all getting on the iPod video bandwagon. To this I say, good, smart move. It makes no business sense, who in the hell wants to rub one off to the tune of a two inch screen. Personally, I like to kick back to no less than twenty three inches, and how in the hell am I supposed to amuse myself and go switchstance with one hand tethered to the pornPod.
What bothering me about this:
When it comes to the iPod, Fayling said there are few rewards and many risks. Fayling emphasized the pitfalls of combining a device designed for younger audiences with content they are prohibited from viewing. “There’s already a public perception that we (in the industry) are preying on youth,” he said. “Without safeguards you open yourself up to more scrutiny from government and parents’ groups.’”
What the fuck! Here we have an industry that does not shy away from anything. On the outer fringes of the cum stained bedspread is a barely legal girl getting hit hard by a horse, move in a little closer to the norm and you good old fashioned one on one humping. So, they are at peace with letting a girl get railed by a animal with a cock the size of a baseball bat, but put it on a iPod, and their morals kick in?
I guess being in the pussy industry, by nature, makes you one. After all, the apple does not fall far from the tree, or in this case, I guess the Apple does fall far from the tree. Heh, that was hella witty.
This is what is pissing me off about our current social mindset. There is so much FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt), that businesses are afraid to even try for fear of getting in trouble. In this case, probably not that bad, but I see it happening all over the place, and there, right out the window, goes all the innovation that the US used to be so on top of.
