Ok, not really, but sort of. I geek out on my server logs all the time, I like to see who came to the site, from where, what they searched to get there, all the basic stuff. The interesting one is how much traffic myspace.com is sending my way.
I won’t even link to those douche-bags, as myspace is something, that out of principle, I have decided to despise. What’s interesting, is they love to link images on their pages, profiles, whatever the hell you call them.
For me, for some reason, a week or so ago, some guy injected an image I used in a post about Jessica Simpson. And no, the fact it is a popular term has nothing to do with this one, as you can see, this is the image that is being linked around:

No big deal, a few hits, who cares. Then, others see this image, they copy it, paste it, pass it about, and like a virus, it is making it’s way around the myspace scene. I’m not saying my server is even beginning to feel the hurt from this, more like a gentle tickle across the …. well, yeah, its nothing, barely on the radar.
It al strikes me as amusing, as with the logs, I can clearly see where this started, and how it is being passed from one person to the next. The cool part, the second it does get out of hand, you can simply drop in a goatse or set apache to turn all hijacked images in goatse’s.
